Wells National Estuarine Research Reserve encompasses the Laudholm Farm in its 1,600-acre reach. Also a bird sanctuary, the area was chosen because of two rivers adjacent to the farm that flow into the ocean forming estuaries and nesting areas. Visitors can spend the day watching the bird species, walking through the trails and visiting the restored buildings and displays on the property. Address: 342 Laudholm Farm Rd. Wells ME USA 04090
